The InBody Smart Weight Analyzer doesn’t need to estimate the upper half of your body because we utilize four handheld contact points in addition to the four on your feet, for a total of eight points of contact delivering the most accurate body composition analysis in the industry. Most other ‘smart scales’ only have four points of contact on your feet and rely on standardized algorithms to estimate values for the rest of your body. The Smart Weight Analyzer utilizes technology derived from our professional-grade medical devices, which are supported by over 2500 clinical research studies.

Make sure that you have your InBody App connected, and that you’ve started a new measurement. To start a new measurement, click the red plus circle on the bottom left of the app under the ‘results’ tab.

Place your feet on the four points of contact on the H20N. Then grip the handle and hold your arms out straight while the measurements are being taken. Make sure you’re not wearing socks or shoes!

The circular knob in the center of the unit can be used to set your height. To increase, turn it clockwise, to decrease, turn it counterclockwise. Note that the units utilize the metric system.

Once you have downloaded the InBody App, select ‘devices’ and your H20N should appear. Make sure your Bluetooth is activated, and your Smart Weight Analyzer is turned ON. To start the test, simply step on the H20N.

The H20N should be placed on a hard, flat surface.

Test in the morning, if possible. Test after going to the bathroom. Test prior to working out. Test prior to taking a shower, bath or using a sauna. Do not eat immediately before testing.

Using the InBody App, select the icon with the human figure in the bottom left corner. In this section you will see the ‘results’ and ‘history’ sections where you can view your tests.

The H20N provides several values to measure your body composition, including Weight, Muscle Mass, Body Mass Index (BMI), and Body Fat Percentage.

Weight: The total mass of the human body.

Muscle Mass: Skeletal muscle represents the majority of muscle tissue and powers movement of the skeleton. Skeletal muscle is innervated by the somatic nervous system and is subject to voluntary control. This is the muscle that is influenced the most by physical activity.

Body Mass Index: A weight-to-height ratio, calculated by dividing one’s weight by the square of one’s height and used as an general indicator of over/underweight within standard populations.

Body Fat Percentage: The total mass of fat divided by total body mass. Your body fat includes essential body fat and storage body fat. While two individuals can have the same weight, their percentage of fat and muscle can vary significantly. The healthy range of fat for men is generally 10-20%, while the healthy range for women is 18-28%. Healthy body fat ranges for children under 18 vary depending on their gender and height.

The H20N should not be used if you have a pacemaker.

PUSH Stadiometer

A stadiometer is a device used to measure height.

The PUSH simplifies the measurement process, and is a much more modern approach than traditional height measurement methods.

The PUSH utilizes an ultrasonic sensor for accurate measurement. With its sleek design, measurements can be easily taken with one hand. The data is synced with your phone app and height measurements can be tracked relative to CDC standardized growth charts.

The PUSH stadiometer tells provides accurate height of the person being measured, as well as the humidity and temperature of the room.

Please contact GoodWellness.ca customer service if you have problems with your stadiometer.
